New York City may be a concrete jungle, but with ample space in Central Park and many other parks in its boroughs, along with the overall attitude of its residents, New York is ranked as one of the most pet-friendly cities in the country.
For anyone who lives in or visits New York City, it should come as no surprise that the city is very dog-friendly. The city as a whole is extremely pedestrian-friendly, and it’s easy to get anywhere you need to with ease, which also means that your dog is more likely to get some quality exercise with you or your dog walker.
One weekly feature that we are going to include in the Union Square Dog Walker blog is building off of the idea that there is never a shortage of things to do or see in the city, and your dog can certainly be included in some of your adventures. “This Weekend in New York” will highlight some of the best places to go and things to do in the city with your dog. We hope you are as excited about this as we are!
And while it may only be Monday right now, we thought this might be a little something to get you through your week.
